I built the intelligence I needed at every stage.
Hi — I'm Jason Neubauer. Serial entrepreneur, Shark Tank alum, award-winning marketer, and the founder of FounderToProfit.
It started with $32,000 and a lucky spin.
My entrepreneurial career began in the strangest possible way: I won $32,000 on Wheel of Fortune. That check didn't just pay rent — it became seed capital for the first of many bets I'd make on myself. It taught me the lesson every founder eventually learns the hard way: preparation meets opportunity, or nothing happens at all.
Then I walked into the Tank.
A few years later I stood in front of the Sharks with The CoolBox — the smart toolbox my co-founder and I invented. We got the deal. Then we lived through everything they don't show on TV: manufacturing hell, distribution nightmares, cash crunches, and the slow, unglamorous grind of turning a prototype into a real business.
We didn't win every battle. But we learned the truth nobody tells first-time founders: the pitch is the easy part. The next 1,000 decisions are the hard part.
Six companies, three industries, one pattern.
I went on to pioneer mobile social betting with YouBetme, build influencer marketing platforms before anyone called it influencer marketing, launch Affect Change (which won IMA's Internet Marketer of the Year), and advise dozens of early-stage founders across consumer tech, media, and web3.
Six companies. Three industries. Every stage from napkin to exit conversation. And I kept noticing the same thing:
Founders don't fail because they're lazy or unlucky. They fail because they spent this week on the wrong thing — and no one told them.
Every tool I used understood one piece of my business. None of them understood the whole thing.
I tried the spreadsheets. The AI chatbots. The project managers. The fundraising templates. Each one helped with a task, but none of them talked to each other. My strategy lived in one place, my financials in another, my pitch deck in a third, and my customer research somewhere else entirely.
The result was always the same: I was explaining my business to a new tool every week, stitching insights together by hand, and making big decisions with a partial picture. Pricing would change, but the deck wouldn't reflect it. A customer insight would surface, but the roadmap wouldn't absorb it. The left hand never met the right hand.
The founders with elite advisors, warm intros, and family-office backing had a shortcut. Everyone else had YouTube, X threads, and gut instinct. That gap isn't a talent gap. It's an intelligence gap. And in 2026, with the tools we have, there's no reason it should still exist.
One business. One intelligence. Every decision connected.
FounderToProfit — and its core product, Compass — is the platform I wish had existed when I walked into the Tank. When I raised my first round. When I had to choose between two "obvious" growth channels and picked wrong because I couldn't see the full picture.
Compass isn't a course. It isn't a coach. It isn't another pile of disconnected tools that forget your business the moment you close the tab. It's one connected intelligence platform that builds a living understanding of your company — your strategy, your customers, your finances, your goals — and uses that understanding to power every decision you make.
You describe your business once. Compass turns that into a Founder Score, an Action Plan, financial projections, an executive summary, an investor-ready deck, and a strategic coach that already knows where you stand. Every output stays synchronized because every output comes from the same source: one Company Profile that learns as you grow.
A decision-making platform where every module shares the same brain.
At the center of Compass is a single source of truth: the Company Profile. Your assessment answers, your financial updates, your strategic conversations, your deck — everything feeds into one living record. Every module reads from it. Every recommendation reflects it. When one thing changes, the whole platform updates.
That means Compass Coach already knows how long your cash will last. Your marketing recommendations already know your ideal customer and pricing. Your investor-readiness score already knows your progress and roadmap. You stop repeating yourself. You stop reconciling conflicting advice. You start making decisions with one clear, connected picture of your business.
Turning founders into profitable operators — one decision at a time.
I've been the founder with the great idea and no plan. I've been the founder with investors watching and no clarity. I've been the founder googling at 2am. This is for them. This is for you.
If Compass helps one founder skip one bad quarter, it was worth building. If it helps thousands of founders build companies they're proud of — profitably, sustainably, without burning themselves to the ground — that's the mission.
